- Full-frame, 50.6-megapixel sensor
- 100-6,400 native ISO range
- 61-point AF with 41 cross-type and 5 double-cross type
This camera is all about detail – its 50.6-megapixel, full-frame sensor captures more detail than any camera we've ever tested. It's a pure, professional camera for those that require outstanding detail from their shots.
Backing this up is arguably the best AF system on any camera on the market. It lets you pick groups of either five or nine focus points, rather than a single one, and it's incredibly fast with a huge array of lenses.
Its slow 5fps burst mode tells you what you need to know, too – it's a very specific camera for a specific type of photographer, not an all-rounder. But if it's detail that you need then there are few, if any, better.
