Plasma TVs like this gratifyingly large 55in model from Panasonic
have always had an edge over LCD when it comes to motion handling, thanks to
plasma’s much faster innate response time. The P55VT50 also tackles plasma’s
common problem with judder with real gusto and effectiveness too, while also
producing colours with more vibrancy than any big plasma TV before. Add to the
mix effective 3D, a fairly large soundstage and a filter on the screen that
absorbs sunlight in your room better than Panasonic’s cheaper models, and
you’ve got a true sporting star on your hands.
