The world is going wireless, but ditching all your wires is a daunting
prospect - because wire-free things rarely work as they should. AirDroid
is one of the best ways to stop having to plug your Android phone into
your computer, ever. It lets you wirelessly transfer files,
manage your SMS messages, save photos and even install apps remotely.
AirDroid runs over a Wi-Fi network within a browser on the desktop end,
making this solution all the more versatile. The only annoying
limitation is that transfer rates are, obviously, limited by the speed
of the connection. Unless you're blessed with incredibly fast internet,
this will likely be much slower than a wired connection.
