The Marantz SR7005 AC receiver would be an imposing presence in any room, and is certainly something all audiophiles would desire to have sitting under their TVs. With retro chic looks and minimalist styling the Marantz looks the part and certainly delivers the audio performance you would expect from a high-end AV receiver. With more connections than most people will ever need, 1080p video upscaling and DLNA support, the Marantz does offer a lot for your monye, however our judges felt that its high price meant it just missed out on the Award this year.
