As the nights draw in and the seasonal period starts to get closer, anyone into their gadgets and gizmos will probably be getting a slight feeling of dread at the bottom of their stomachs. I’m not talking about stress of having to choose the right presents or how to find the money to pay for them - I’m talking about Memory Format Overload (MFO).

With seemingly every digital camera, portable game console, mobile phone and even toaster taking a different memory format it’s enough to do anyone’s head in. And the more we hope for the day when there’s just one format to rule them all, a new one seems to pop up out of nowhere.

But as ever, we’re here to ease the pain. We can’t promise to deliver that longed for memory format unification, but thanks to the very nice people at leading memory manufacturer SanDisk, we can offer five people the chance to win a 1GB memory card in the format in their choice.

So if you find that you’ve got five spare Compact Flash cards, but what you really need is a Memory Stick Duo for your PSP, then this is the competition for you.

To enter all you need to do is answer this simple memory related question.
