Is this support for the TRIM command or something else?

No, trim support is something different, although this sounds better. From what I can tell, it sounds like the drive firmware will clean they drive up all by itself, without the need for OS support. That would be rather useful for people like me who have their SSDs in RAID, since trim support for RAID controllers may be a while coming.
As a side note, does anyone know why we must always capitalise the TRIM command? It's not as if it's an acronym, right?!?
