SanDisk M2 Cards Also Up To 16GB

Anything microSD can do...
Yep, just one week after microSD HC (microSD Higher Capacity) leapt to a monstrous 16GB, M2 - which traditionally lags some way behind - has gotten with the programme and also matched this impressive figure.

As you might expect patent full set holder SanDisk was again behind this breakthrough and it gives compatible Sony Ericsson handsets the chance to become some of the storage-friendliest on the block. Yes, I'm also thinking about a 24GB W980i.
Furthermore, SanDisk has rather helpfully confirmed pricing (though not in GBP) listing the 16GB M2 as having a $129.99 RRP - the typical premium compared to the $99.99 16GB microSD HC. Why? Because it's Sony Ericsson of course. Still, it's pretty darn good value all the same.
As for peace of mind, both the 16GB M2 and microSD HC are covered by tasty five year limited warranties which should prove more than enough. After all, just think how capacious these dinky cards will be by then...
