You can tell news is thin pre-CES can't you...

Still, that gives me the opportunity to cover a product that would probably have sailed right by our usually chock-full inboxes: the SanDisk 'Cruzer Titanium Plus' - the latest innovative take on the humble memory key.

Like the traditional Cruzer Titanium line, the Plus is extremely rugged and comes with a capacious 4GB capacity, but unlike its siblings it provides fully automatic online back-up of its contents. Yep, picking up from Biometric & Antivirus memory keys, the Plus has possibly the best solution yet for never losing its data.

The system is simple too: Plus owners get a free six month subscription ($29.99 annually there after) to the BelnSync online back-up service and files can be accessed either on the device or - in the case of theft or loss - directly online. Furthermore, the back-up holds onto all files for 30 days after they are removed from the drive meaning accidental deletions hold no fears, while the Plus is also eligible for the BoomerangIt lost and found service.

Security conscious types are covered too since the Plus comes with both password protection and AES hardware encryption.

Due to ship in early Q1, the Plus will set you back just $60 (under £30) - little more than a standard 4GB memory key - so what's there to lose... (sorry, terrible pun).
