Well it's books, not movies or music. Sony haven't really stuck there nose into that part yet. But I understand were your coming from, I've not been a fan of Sony since they got into the Music & Film industry.
Thanks guys. This is a useful preview. The multilingual dictionaries are a useful touch. If your final verdict is as positive, I'll probably be getting one. I'll be particularly interested in seeing what they've done about the page turns - rumour was that they were going to finesse that a bit.
The advantages over the Kindle in my book (heh) are that the Reader just seems to do a better job at displaying PDFs with graphics, and that it's a relatively easy job to hack it to install additional fonts (to support e.g. polytonic Greek). It's also nice to not be tied to an Amazon future for ever and ever.
