If this is the standard (and not the bluetooth or noise cancelling) version of the MDR-1R the price seems a bit high at £299, plenty of places selling for £200 or less.

That is in the noise-canceling MDR-1RNC Headphones, the Bluetooth and Regular Versions have a 4-80000 HZ Frequency Range.

Reviewer hints at "better sounding for less money", yet does not suggest what brand it is that is "better for the money"....I suppose they want you to go and try the other 30 sets in this price range and find out which they are talking about? (maybe you have better things to do with your time, and maybe they could post what headphone models they believe are "better sounding" for the money, etc.
