Been a fan of small camcorders, had the AVCHD based Sony CX6 and original TG3. the TG3 is still a bargain camcorder as you can pick them up for under £300 as there end of line.

The big drawback on the TG3 and TG7 is battery life! The NP-50 battery that fits inside the chassis is only good for 90mins of footage, hence if you want to continuous recording , you will end up having to battery swap. sound quailty is also good, even at high volume (concerts etc) this is something the early AVCHD camcorders like the CX6 was terrible at.

Good point about the battery life. It is pretty short for both camcorders, although I've found the TG7VE better than the TG3.

I have a question about a real quality of picture. I think about buying this camera. Can you tell me something about it?
