Elemental Technologies Badaboom Comments

This really caught my eye. I've got a perfectly functional dual core Pentium D Dell PC that does 90% of what I want, except that encoding video to MP4 for playing back via my Apple TV takes ages.
Rather than having to upgrade the whole PC, would buying this software and a new £50 or £60 Nvidia graphics card make a big difference? My current card is a 7900GS that doesn't support this software but you can pick up a 9500GT for a very modest sum.
