any word on security/privacy? Is all your stuff travelling up and down the wires in plain view? And what happens if the Met Police decide that chair leg helping support you is reasonable grounds for suspicion and decides they want to lean on Acronis to let them have a peek at the contents of your PC? Is it all encrypted?

Not a bad idea, but what about 1) security/privacy of data? 2) the fact that ADLS links are usually asymmetrical, and thus much slower to upload than to download? it could take days for most people to upload 25 Gb through ADSL.

@Martin Daler @Digital Fury - all data is encrypted on the server (256bit), but obviously we can't comment on police enquiries!

My suggestion to Acronis was the next stage should be synchronisation. After all, we're often backing up a lot of the same data on each of our PCs. Seems a logical step.
