I thought this was more about the FTC investigation into Google and Apple?
@ilovethemonkeyhead, while Apple's hardware design is nice there are plenty of other, higher specified lookalikes that could easily host Android. What distinguishes the iPhone from the competition, for now at least, is its software. Likewise the same can be said of Macs. I haven't heard of many people buying Mac computers to use as a Windows PC just because they love the hardware design.

Multi-touch on Android please.
And don't say 'HTC Hero', that's an HTC special and it doesn't use multi-touch to its full potential.

@Andy H
I've seen a few postings where people have bought both Macbooks and iMacs for Windows usage.

It's just a matter of time before Google pulls the plug on Apple. They weren't too happy about Google's voice app being rejected. If Google was to withdraw all their apps from the iPhone which I think they should Apple would be in a lot of trouble. Many of their users expect youtube, google maps etc. It's their own fault really for being such greedy bums. Apple has rejected so many decent apps being released on the appstore that's why 99% are useless programs or games. They are stealing developers ideas and innovations which they can implement themselves... iWorks cough cough Google Docs. They certainly won't approve of anything that can harm iTunes sales. Mark my words Spotify will never be approved.
Apple needs Google and not the other way round. People will just buy different phones/smartphones. Google maps, youtube, earth etc has far more user base than the tiny fractions on the iPhones. Let’s not forgot they only have about 2% market share. As I mentioned people will just use other handsets where Google will be available so won't affect them at all.
