Maybe the actual security model for new versions of their OS is where they should be concentrating their efforts?

the current version of Live Onecare is one of the best security/management apps out there (v2.5).
It is top of my recommendation list for home users.

I for one will be sorry to see it go.

so, what'll happen to all those 1 and 2 year licences? will those people get refunded?... in this happy off beat credit crunch recession free world they might...

I'm not so sure Gordon - it looks like only the AV side of OneCare will live on and not the whole feature set - lot of conflicting info at the moment
