I wondered how long it would be before an AV peddler jumped on the 'cloud' bandwagon. Why anyone would pay for this when Avast, AVG, Ad-Aware etc are all free and do a decent job is beyond me.

Are you going to review this or NIS 2009 (or ideally a comparison revire?) - I've had bad experiences with NIS in the past, but the new version seems better - and my current sub to Trend runs out in 10 days!

@basicasic - depends if what you want is a 'decent job'? Even AVG's own site shows the many feature shortcomings of its free edition in comparison to the paid version. These prices are hardly going to bankrupt anyone either - they're far less than a single console game...
