Well I'd hold judgement till a final release. I just find it incomprehensible that some of those features wouldn't be in the final version.

Me too. Fingers crossed.
After all a world where we have a decent choice of browsers across a range of mobile OSes will make the market far more competitive. And besides, Windows Mobile needs all the help it can get!

Simon: "I've fiddled with Opera but can't say i am a fan to be honest. Why can't someone make a good browser for WM using Webkit?"
What makes you think WebKit will magically turn into a decent browser?
Opera Mobile is excellent. It's faster and more compatible with the web than WebKit.
Why are you not a fan of Opera, and why do you believe in the fairy tale that WebKit is anything special?

Oh dear. As a WM user I find this somewhat depressing. I've fiddled with Opera but can't say i am a fan to be honest. Why can't someone make a good browser for WM using Webkit?
