We were reasonably impressed by WayFinder Navigator when we reviewed in July last year and this spit and polish looks likely to push it to new levels.
Keymost in its latest launch are an improved and simplified UI, support for preloaded and fully vectorized maps, social network integration and an extended map coverage now totalling over 150 countries.

Quickly breaking these down what we get are 'Power Search' in the UI which allows users to look-up anything from locations to POIs, including Yellow and White Pages content, all from the same bar. Then there's Facebook and Google Earth compatibility which enables owners to share their locations with friends, while lastly expanded global partnerships mean Wayfinder access can be attained almost anywhere in the world.
Compatible with virtually all modern handsets from Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, RIM, Panasonic and Windows Mobile, the latest Wayfinder Navigator is available now for an annual fee of €49 per region or €79 for global content. A five day free trial can also be downloaded from the main site or through the mobile internet on getwf.com.
