The Samsung WF1804WPU also has Ecobubble™ technology, a system that lets the machine use bubbles instead of standard shots of water to penetrate the clothes more quickly whilst putting garments under less stress whilst they are being washed. Overall, the tech ensures your clothes get cleaner and stay looking new for longer.
With Ecobubble™ you can also wash at lower temperatures whilst still getting your clothes clean, using less energy and therefore saving yourself a bit of money. The A spin efficiency rating means the Samsung machine gets clothes dryer than many of its rivals when completing a cycle, a benefit that means they don’t have to spend as much time in the dryer — again, saving electricity and money.
Even with the large 8kg drum this machine can reach spin speeds of up to 1400 revolutions per minute, which is quite impressive but makes the usually quiet machine a little bit noisy.
Also featuring in this washing machine’s bag of tricks are ceramic heaters, which are more effective and long-lasting than durable heaters. Ceramic heaters will prevent the build up of limescale and use less energy than traditional heating methods. The Samsung WF1804WPU also has Fuzzy Logic — sensors which monitor the wash and adjust water intake and temperature, wash time, rinse performance and spin speed, making the wash more efficient. With all this efficiency, it’s no surprise that the Samsung WF1804WPU has an A*** energy efficiency rating.
There are 14 different wash programmes available on the WF1804WPU, and selecting them can be a bit confusing. The cycles at higher temperatures can also be a bit long. Although it’s a bit expensive, the features in this machine do justify the price, and the cleaning power of this machine is undeniably strong.
