Quick point: This is already an outstanding value TV, but I'm willing to bet a few pounds that come March/April next year this will be the bargain of the century - or at leas the year.
Is the tv pentile? better than 1366 x 768 though, I saw panasonic 50x60 for £400 in sainsbury's but resolution is too big a compromise.
This reminds me of my Samsung PS51D550 51" plasma, bought for around £650 off the back of glowing reviews from yourselves and other review sites I trust (AV Forums being another). Unfortunately, like many other long-term owners reported, the screen was subject to 'brightness shifts/pops'. This is a real irritation and no firmware update to-date has fixed the issue. I can only wonder if this screen might turn out to have similar issues...
I am looking for a new TV, my options for the moment are the samsung PS60E6500/ the samsung PS60F5500 both plasma and the UE55F6500 LCDAll of these tv's have great test results on this site although I image one of them is the best.I you had to choose between these TV's wich would you pick?
In my setting the tv would end up in a dark living room, mostly used to play HD content from my PC.
