The Slide is the best handset so far in the Genio range thanks to its excellent keyboard, great connectivity and easy to use operating system. Its cramped screen is a bit of an issue, but if you can’t quite stretch to the asking price of some of the more advanced smartphones and want something a bit more feature-rich than the average pay as you go handset, we think it’s still a good bet.

As I read this, it's very impressive indeed. I found the Corby's screen a tad slacking, but I might have said that that would've been a good handset for me if it had a 3,5mm jack.
To bad the sound quality is poor, can't use Shure's on that! I might have contracted the Desire-virus though..
For this price bracket, I've always thought these 'halfway house' pseudo smartphones are a bit of a joke. Raising your budget a few pounds gets you t-mobile's budget android phone 'Pulse'.
How about back to the basics ! I can't pick this thing up without hitting the lock button. Try to get this unit out of a holster without locking or unlocking it.(depending on the previous state) The touch screen does not work for me either. When I try to scroll the apps and widgets, if I touch it in a particular way (details unknown), it launches the application instead of scrolling. I am dumping this thing in a big hurry.
