Read the full Ricoh CX4 review

The CX4 continues Ricoh's tradition of well-made, technically advanced high-performance long-zoom cameras, and introduces a couple of useful new features to an already impressive list. Performance and results are good, however the ageing body design is looking a bit stale, and the inconsistent exposure metering and less-than-perfect lens are disadvantages.

Hi,

The images quality(IQ) looks a like washout when compared to the a lot of medium price P&S cameras in the market. Personally I won't buy it if I am a new buyer.

I don't think it deserves a rate of 8 in terms of the IQ ratings.

This camera is beyond me! Just what, or who, is its target market? People who like spending enough to buy something really good but prefer spending it on something mediocre?

tean is spot on, objecting to the 8 for IQ.
