You may have heard of Swype, the innovative keyboard for Android phones that lets users enter text by swiping around the letters in a word on the keyboard’s surface, rather than actually tapping them out. If you own a Samsung handset, you may even be an avid user. However, the problem is that Swype is only available on a limited number of phones. 
This is where SlideIT comes in. It operates in a similar way to Swype but you can download and use it on any handset. As with Swype, you enter words by sliding your finger in a single motion across the letters in the word before letting go. If you’d like to try before you buy, there’s a free version available in the market that works for 15 days.
