The level of fine detail isn’t as good as some other 8MP compacts I’ve tried, but still isn’t bad.
The 28mm-equivalent lens produces some barrel distortion, but I’ve seen worse from less wide-angle lenses.
Sharpness at the centre of the frame is excellent.
Sharpness only falls off at the very farthest corners of the frame.
