Hmmm or this other pure model is only £27:

Personally i would go with a one of the docking stations that has dab.

So, £75 for a basic one-speaker radio with just about usable battery life.

I've given up on DAB in disappointment. They cost more, the break down and they have no appreciably benefit beyond the extra channels (most of which are not worth it).

Welcome to the future of radio - it's called the £15 AM/FM radio. It works, the batteries last for months and the sound on FM is every bit as good. And with fair handling it'll last for decades.

While it tunes DAB + Stations it does not play and Pure so far have not made a software upgrade available to correct this. While they have done this for their more expensive models. At this stage I am sorry I bought my ONE mine
