Pure have always been overpriced, I had several replacements of old Pure
Evoke Flow model and a plethora of problems with firmware updates which
were carried out by "nagware" blocking the menu and no roll back. Some firmware revisions extended startup times, others made mistakes about battery levels.
Radio reboots a lot which is VERY frustrating when it takes so long to
startup. NAS support was dire on old model. Not clear from review above if this has a new CPU but sluggish reports seems to suggest not. How come no Wireless N support and very disappointed that Bluetooth is via USB dongle (will get lost), but also
seems to suggest that you can't record to USB memory stick when you
connect to speakers. Why not have a simple button on the back to turn BT on and off, I suspect battery life will be much worse on Bluetooth. Also disappointed they did not
take opportunity to add new preset buttons with this new design. As it
typical with Pure, they do not think through the features in real world

There's not even a remote control with this radio! Total fail when I don't have an Apple account, hate iTunes with a passion and therefore have no way to control the thing. Utterly pointless.

Hopelessly slow and complicated controls for internet radio. Nearly always end up using my desktop.
