This is probably the worst printer I've bought. All the functions look great, and some of them actually work, but it falls down on some very basic things. It doesn't print red - it comes out orange or brown. Four organisations I work with have red logos, and I just can't use the printer. I've been working with Kodak support for a month to solve this, and even on a replacement printer, red doesn't print. Now the replacement has broken (paper feed trays), and I can't print anything at all. This printer was marketed on cheap ink, but even though the cartridges are cheap, they run out ridiculously quickly. I've been going through almost one cartridge a week, where my HP was doing one every other month, and my Canon one every six weeks. This is a really disappointing printer.

I bought one of these this afternoon from PC World - to replace a HP Deskjet 4200. (I wanted a machine with a scanner and thought the WiFi connectivity would be useful.) Installation of the Kodak was easy, and everything worked as it should. The instructions were easy to follow, and the Kodak AiO Home Centre software is pretty user-friendly. However, I was surprised by how poor the print quality is. Unacceptably so, I'm afraid. It's (now to me) easy to understand why HP is the world-leader in computer printers. I'm taking the printer back to PC World, and going back to my old HP. I'm afraid the Kodak is a waste of money unless print quality is relatively low on your priorities. Don't make the same mistake as me. Avoid.
