Kyocerea has added to its range of Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) with the launch of the KM-2550. This is a sister product to the KM-1650 and KM-2050 and completes Kyocera’s line-up of recently launched A3-capable multifunction devices.

Aimed at busy office departments, the printer is network ready straight from the box. It's capable of outputting 25 pages per minute (ppm) in A4 or 13ppm in A3 with a time to first page of 4.9 seconds. Standard paper capacity is a hefty 650 pages and can be upgraded to 1,250 for the busier office. It offers duplex printing and can be upgraded to add optional fax and scan functions.

The KM-2550 is equipped with advanced digital functionality including electronic sort and rotate sort output, an ECOcopy mode for draft documents and an N-up copying facility that reduces paper usage. Busy offices where printer uptime is a big concern will appreciate the preventative maintenance cycle of 300,000 pages. Additionally Kyocera claims that servicing will only take fifteen minutes.

The KM-2550 is available from Kyocera Mita Servicing Dealers from 1st December 2004 and has an RRP of £4389.
