My family and I are in love with our new Philips HDTV! When
we got it hooked to my DISH Hopper,
we were amazed at how great the image looked! We only had three TVs when I
first got the Hopper, so I was looking for a fourth set. I work at DISH and a guy I work with highly recommended Philips,
and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Now we get HD and DVR to all four
TVs the Hopper is capable of, and best of all there are no more arguments over
DVR timer conflicts!

I DO NOT RECOMEND PHILIPS TO ANYONE! Bought a TV from Phlips and 20 days later it stoped working. Went to the guarantee and gave me a completly lame explanation as to why the guarantee wont repair the tv. They said that there was improper use of an hdmi cable!!! First of all how can there be improper use of an hdmi cable? (you just plug it in right) Secondly i dont have an hdmi device and never used the hdmi cable! then they tell the price to fix it is 2/3 the price of the TV. These people are liars and theives! They also disrespected my girlfriend on the phone. I am in complete shock as to how a major company like philips could let this happen. I am completely disapointed in Philips and because of this experience I will never buy anything philips again.

I have a completely different experience with Philips. My TV died after 2,5 years and the 2 years warranty limit was passed for half a year. Nevertheless, Philips picked up my TV next business day and after a week they told me it was repairable, but the part needed was not in stock. It would take approximately 4 months until they would get the part, so they made me an offer to give me a new TV. New TV would also be a 9000 series, but new model as the model I owned was not available anymore. Had to pay 10% of the original value, as my TV was more than 2 years old and no guarantee on it anymore, but I think 10% price for a NEW TV was fair. They replaced my 2 year old broken TV with a new one (newest model) within 2 weeks!

Philips is a great company with outstanding service!

The absolute worst TV'S on the market. I purchased a 46 inch in 2009, the picture went out in 2011. I went ahead and spent $180 and had it fixed and on 9/21/13, the exact same problem. I will never buy any other Phillips products!
