I've used the E172 for the past 14 months on a 12 month rolling VOD contract. Reading this article with this at £145, I was waiting for the big ‘WOW’ I must upgrade .. That isn’t going to happen!

All USB modems offload the hard work to the CPU of the computer, so it is no surprise that battery life would suffer.
