3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator 3D Mouse Comments

In the forums of 3dconnexion you'll find a 32bit driver made by a person named RBC9 that emulates joystick and key and such, with a GUI to set what the various axes do.
In addition the SpaceNavigator also works with a program called GlovePIE which is a utility that is meant to add functionality to inputdevices, however to have it emulate a joystick it needs a 3rd party utility/driver called PPjoy which is no longer being developed further and lacks 64bit functionality.
So in short for 32bit systems it is usable in games but for 64bit it requires more effort using a dll or you are stuck to using it to emulate keystrokes.
it's a nice device though.
