iPod Cases Round-up Review
Nintendo’s hard-to-come-by Wii may be grabbing the headlines this Christmas but the iPod continues to be one of the most desired tech gadgets on the market. It’s hardly a crazy bet to imagine that a lot of people reading these pages will have received an iPod this festive season, either as a gift from someone else or to themselves. Freeing a brand new mint iPod from the shackles of its box is always a great experience though admittedly it’s less of one since Apple downsized to the more compact packaging. Hey, at least the smaller boxes are more eco-friendly.

The fact is though that once you’ve oohed and aahed over your pristine new toy, the sensible thing to do is to hide it away in a protective case. If you don’t, then you’re likely to find that you’re formerly gleaming iPod could be scratched or even broken.
We've reviewed quite a few cases in the past, with my own rather chunky 60GB iPod with video living inside a black Vakaadoo iVak, which does a great job of protecting it without detracting too much from its original look.
Recently though, we were sent some rather different cases from online retailer www.mp3additions.co.uk so we’ve picked some of our favourites to give you a taste of what sort of cases are out there. We must warn you – some of them are truly frightening. Let’s start with a safe one then
