I don’t remember seeing this before but, according to its manufacturer - Newton Peripherals, the ‘MoGo Mouse’ has already been a big hit in North America earlier this year. I can see why and now it’s coming over to Europe.

To explain the – frankly – weird screenshots above and below what we have is a credit card shaped mouse which uses Bluetooth to connect to a laptop and then can be neatly stored away in the PC Card slot. Wow, I’m good!

The mouse itself has a kickstand which makes it more comfortable in use and there are two indented finger pads to mimic the ergonomic feel of the more traditional desktop rodent. On the move the MoGo Mouse is equally practical since it is both PC and Mac compatible, is ready to use without any additional software and charges itself when docked in the PC Card slot.

Obviously your laptop will need to have Bluetooth for the two to perform their merry dance but if not a USB Bluetooth dongle can always be purchased.

Available online now at the company’s site, the MoGo Mouse costs significantly more than a lump of cheddar at £49.95 but it could be the best travelling companion we’ve seen to date.
