MSI has announced a Bluetooth USB dongle with the bizarre name of BToes. These are handy devices as they are a quick way to add Bluetooth functionality to your PC. In the past, MSI had only bundled its Bluetooth technology with its motherboards. However, it is now choosing to actively make a name for itself in the Bluetooth market and MSI claims that it has over two years of Bluetooth development to draw upon in this venture.

This could be the reason why mobile phone giant Nokia has agreed to market and sell the MSI BToes as an official N-Gage game deck accessory. Despite having just been released however, the BToes is based on the existing Bluetooth 1.1 standard, rather than the very latest 1.2, which is claimed to offer increased reliably and improved battery life. Nevertheless MSI is confident that the BToes will enable users to enjoy an, “easy and wireless life”. The MSI Bluetooth USB dongle uses the USB 1.1 interface and is available now from www.overclockers.co.uk for £12.95.
