Nice. Pity they didn't spring for the dual core 300 series Atom, or better yet, a CULV C2D...

Hoping eventually one of these manufacturers will kit it out with a freeview+ decoder and remote as standard then we will have at last a proper media pc.

Interesting article on wired http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/09/apple-tv-price-cut/ as to why Apple has never done the obvious with Apple TV - sounds a lot to me like when Sony refused to do the obvious and move to hdd mp3 players persisting with MiniDisc and leaving the field to Apple.......

@timple I couldn't agree more. When these things cost £250, come with dual turners, 750 gig upwards harddisks and ION2 ;) everyone will want to own one. So long as they can keep the power consumption low they have the potential to be huge

VESA mounts are mentioned in the article, to attach nettops to the back of TVs. I tried googleing them but their website wasn't very useful. Do these work for a range of nettops on a range of tvs or are they specific?

@asanka - VESA is the industry standard mounts on the back of (virtually) every flat panel TV so it can can be wall mounted. That way all wall mount manufacturers can make their products to a standard size knowing it will fit any TV on the market.
