Acer's Aspire Revo nettop cum games console may have been announced last week, but two important details were missing: pricing and a release date. Luckily Play is at hand with at least what it thinks both will be, as shown below.

Admittedly while the base-spec Revo does hit an attractive price point, it seems likely most buyers will be opting for Windows-based systems. Especially if claims that XP is on 96 per cent of netbooks are accurate. Not to mention the rather miserly 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM.

The systems most will be after it seems, therefore, are those for £299.99 with Acer's 3D controllers and £249.99 without. The £329.99 keyboard and mouse bundle is rather pushing the limit of sensible nettop pricing, though.

Whether the ION platform within will be enough to make Vista a pleasant experience on an Atom processor remains to be seen, but 2GB of RAM should go some way to assisting. 160GB of hard drive capacity isn't too shabby and with the games controller-sporting systems Acer is sweetening the deal by bundling 10 games in the box.

Decide for yourself if Crazy Taxi III, Sonic Heroes, The House of the Dead 3, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, Midnight Club 2, Heavy Weapon Deluxe, Crystalize 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, Crashday and Balance are the kind of game you're interested in playing with a 3D controller. Just make sure you've decided by the 18th of May.
