Vadim Computers, makers of the Vadim Custom Fusion LQX has just announced that it will no longer be trading. Specifically V-Solutions Ltd, the company behind Vadim PCs has gone into voluntary liquidation, claiming "this sudden action is the credit crunch that unfortunately hit the electronics and PC hardware industry hard" as a majour contributor to this decision.

Importantly for customers who are currently awaiting completion of a Vadim PC "not all the current orders could be completed unfortunately and as such, the liquidators will deal with such customers direct." Vadim also says that it will be looking at the best way to deal with warranties, but points out that the components used within its PCs are under their manufacturers' warranties. Not that many people will be happy about servicing parts in a £4,000-odd computer.

With Rock entered into administration recently, before being saved by Stone and Komplett closing its UK operations it can surely only be a matter of before we see more fall by the wayside.

Hopefully they can find a buyer soon, this is one of the few companies that I really really don't want to see vanish. At least Blastflow won't be effected.
