Dell Studio Hybrid Looks Like Eee Desktop?

Asus's Eee Box may have stolen a few headlines recently (and we should know, we've written most of them) but that doesn't mean it's the only player in the market. As in the Netbook market, Dell is also set to offer an Eee rival on the desktop, coming under the name of the Studio Hybrid, according to information (and a couple of blurry photographs) leaked to Engadget.

We're told that that the Studio Hybrid has the following specs:
- Intel based (maybe Atom, maybe not - we can't tell)
- 4GB RAM
- 320GB hard drive
- Five USB ports
- DVI and HDMI outputs
- DVD drive
- WiFi and Ethernet
- Windows operating system
Supposedly pricing has been stated before as likely between $500 and $700 (around £250 to 350) which would probably translate as £400-odd in the UK. Given the increased specs over the Eee Box the likewise increased (expected) price seems reasonable. We'll have to see both systems in the flesh to decide which is the better but as ever, competition is never a bad thing.
