We don't often feature servers on TrustedReviews but every now and again someone does something noteworthy enough for it to be worth a mention. The latest of these is a new rack-mount solution from Boston, which takes a Supermicro server and adds a liquid cooling solution to it - appetising no?

The 1U system uses Intel's latest Seaburg chipset along with quad-core (Harpertown) and dual-core (Wolfdale) processors and as there are two dual-socket motherboards per rack you could have up to 16 CPU cores in one bay. Of course this is par for the course, but what differentiates the Boston system is the cooling solution. By improving the heat dissipation of the system Boston's solution allows more racks to be placed closer together without causing a meltdown as might usually happen.

Okay, so servers aren't the most exciting thing in the world, but considering the cost of a decent rack-mount system, getting the best performance and reliability for your money has to be a primary concern - possibly more so than performance. Pricing and availability information haven't been announced yet, so keep an eye on Boston's website if your interest has been raised.
