Rumblings about an eight core/dual quad core Mac Pro have been circulating for a while and now we know they're definitely on the way.

The chief architect behind this, funnily enough, is Apple itself which accidentally leaked the product on its UK website yesterday before quickly corrected the error. However it wasn't fast enough to fool Apple buzz basset hound MacRumours.com as it snagged this website grab.

For the record it reads:

Mac Pro
Now quad-core or 8-core processing power. Configure yours today

It hope that helped the moleish amongst you.

Interestingly, the grab also shows the shipping availability as '24hrs' which clearly illustrates Apple will be hitting the ground running with these new systems any day now. You'll get free delivery too, nice to know when you spending thousands!

Of course, since Steve Jobs is the unbridled king of fanfare it is impossible to know just how many of these Apple website 'leaks' are deliberate as they happen with great regularity and stay up just long enough for the Apple dedicated sites to snag them.

A sneaky marketing ploy? Surely not!
