Shuttle launches new Athlon 64 XPC

Shuttle continues its range refresh with the announcement today of its latest XPC, the SN95G5. This might have G5 at the end of its name but it’s actually supports the latest Socket 939 version of AMD’s Athlon 64.

David Yu, Chairman of Shuttle, boasts that, “The Shuttle SN95G5 XPC, when matched with an AMD Athlon 64 processor is one the best-performing SFF PCs in the world today."



The SN95G5, based on an nForce3 chipset, features a 1GHz HyperTransport bus, dual-channel DDR400 memory and an 8x AGP socket. Built-in connectivity includes, Serial ATA RAID, Gigabit LAN, and FireWire 400. Users can also go wireless with an optional Wireless LAN module.

Shuttle has also updated its integrated cooling engine (ICE) to enhance the air flow mechanics, The ICE includes a 92mm fan, ensuring that its one of the quietest small forms factor cars out there. Combined with its sleek black lines featuring three stealth bays to cover the various ports, the new Shuttle is ideal as an unobtrusive PC for the lounge or bedroom.
