Panasonic are better if you just want an excellent picture out of the box, THX modes are close to perfect.

Received mine this week. It's awesome. Forget design and smart TV, who cares. I watch the moving pictures not the frame and I don't spend hours fiddling with the controls.

Value should be a 9, I checked it out against the Samsung plasma and LCD/LED equivalents - it simply blows them away.
10 out of 10 ? Maybe not, but it's bloody close.
