Almost the same price as my five-year-old 50" Panasonic plasma, and I'd be tempted if not for the coming OLED screens. This TV should comfortably last me another year or two and by then OLED should be affordable.

I reckon middle-to-high-end TV sales are really going to suffer while we're waiting for OLED.

i've had this TV for six months (and actually bought it for the asking price with Richer Sounds price match) and it is the best TV i've watched films on. Can be a bit a funny with motion during football matches, make sure you have the ISF or THX modes on, otherwise some artifacts are visable. Internet features are not on par with PC's but are good fun, especially if using a smart phone to use Youtube or other features. You will not be disappointed with this TV. A+++++

OLED won't match the price, performance or reliability of plasma until at least 2017-2018
