Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 Hands On

In this video we get hands on with the Panasonic G5, while we've a host of annotated pictures below. Check back soon for our full review.

The new Panasonic G5 looks at a glance much like the G3 but it sports a larger more comfortable grip.

The new 18MP sensor is supposed to have slightly better low light performance than the G3. It's smaller than the APS-C sensor on some CSCs like the Canon EOS M, though.

The 3in LCD screen is sharp and colourful and like previous G's is fully articulated, to make shooting at awkward angles easy.

Unlike some CSCs the Panasonic G5 does sport a pop up flash.

A new D-pad replaces the four buttons on previous G cameras, while the main adjustment dial in the top right has improved ergonomics.

A new zoom control sits behind the shutter button. This is for controlling Panasonic's X motorised zoom lenses. You also get stereo mics but no external microphone socket.
