Panasonic DMP-BDT320 3D Blu-Ray Player (with Remote Control)
All good - except for the remote.
Have tried several touchscreens, but none can beat the hard keys for commands such as volume, play, pause, etc.
Remote aside, panny should be applauded for not resting on its laurels. I will certainly be buying one of these in the coming weeks.
"The deck also refused to stream an MKV file containing hi-def video as well as a hi-def AVI"
So its media streaming capabilities are next to useless, LG's players can play Mkv's, Wmvs straight from a network share - no messing about with DNLA.
All I want is the functionality of a WDTV that can play Blu rays. Fingers crossed for Sony's Google TV Blu Ray player.
Looks brilliant though unfortunately not yet in the stores. Any idea when it will be more widely available? Would buy it today if I could!
Currys have it in stock now. I bought mine on Friday.
I'm only looking for picture and sound quality, since I have my pc hooked up to my Onkyo tx-nr616...no need for fancy built in stuff then. I can also wire the bd player with ethernet cable. so, the question is: will this player be so much better than the Pioneer 150, that I will regret not buying this one? take into consideration that in my country the Pana is app 150quid whilst the Pioneer is currently 80,- is this one worth the difference?
