Just to correct you, the latest version of Gingerbread is actually 2.3.7. Moving on, if this is anything like the San Francisco, root will be available very quickly, which will enable overclocking. I would think this CPU would be capable of 1GHz, which would make a massive difference. I ran my San Francisco comfortably at 720MHz, and the difference was really noticeable. Angry Birds was quite laggy on the more physics intensive levels beforehand, but running overclocked all but eliminated lag. So overclocking the '2' should resolve any such issues. And once custom ROMs are available - and no doubt they will be soon - I reckon this phone will be well sought after.

I'm pretty sure that resolution is wrong. Other places (including Orange shop) are reporting it at 480 x 800, which makes more sense since the original San Fran had that res as well.

Why buy this when you can get the 4.3" Monte Carlo for the same money from Argos? Other than screen size the specs look the same - how do the two compare in the hand?

@Epic: front facing camera. smaller screen = lower power draw and less pixels to drive for processor?...

Ah, sorry about that. I got the wrong resolution stuck in my head. Of course it's 480 x 800.

Right you are, will correct that comment about the Android version. Clearly my Christmas hangover is not fully lifted.

Design 7/10 Feature 6/10 Image Quality 4/10 Performance 5/10 Usability 8/10 Value 10/10 Total = 40/60 %= (40/60) x 100 Therefore Overall = 66.6% = 6.66/10????????? So how can the Overall suddenly become 9/10? Seems there are much contradictions/irregularities in which case how can we trust the integrity of this Review? I'm appreciative of the work/effort involved for reviews, but to supply mis-information is worst than not making a product review?
