New phones - LG, Nokia, Motorola, Panasonic

This year at Mobile World Congress, Nokia showed-off both an expensive Windows Phone handset and a budget one - the Lumia 900 and 610. It's stand-out newbie is the Nokia 808 PureView, though. It's a phone with a 41-megapixel camera (38MP effective). But is it just technical smoke and mirrors, or will it prove to be the best smartphone camera ever?

LG unveiled a new flagship, the 4X HD, and revealed an oddball - the LG Optimus 3D Max. Yes, it's a 3D-screen phone.

Panasonic used MWC 2012 to make a bombastic return to the phone market, which it hasn't been an important part of since phone had clicky buttons. One of its new models can withstand a dunking in water, too.
