I'd like this shot from Peter ErbÃ¡k of Lubna, Czech Republic, a lot better without the bevelled frame and copyright notice, however it's still a very good photo, and shows that you don't have to use a wide-angle lens for landscapes.
Another unconventional landscape is this atmospheric shot from Tina Baxter of Coventry, UK. Shot on a four-year-old 3.1-megapixel Canon A70, this is proof if any were needed that you don't need the latest 12MP super-camera to take a good photo, just as long as you've got a good eye. The careful cropping also helps.
