If you’re not familiar with Dropbox, it’s basically an online storage service that allows you to create a folder on your PC whose contents are automatically synced to an Internet storage depository and other Dropbox installations on different PCs and laptops.
You can use it for a whole range of tasks from backing up files to sharing documents with groups of users. It’s a fantastic service, but the Android app has taken a while to appear. Now it’s arrived, though, it provides an easy way to not just access files in your Dropbox folder, but also upload files from your phone.
There are a few problems with the app at present, though. You can’t delete items using the app, but instead have to do this via a browser. In addition, there are thumbnails for pictures, so it can be tricky to find a specific picture in larger photo albums.
It’s not yet perfect, but Dropbox is still a must have app for Android users.
