iTunes link: GoodReader – £1.19
GoodReader started life as a feature-rich PDF reader, but now includes the ability to open and edit text files, view files in Microsoft Office format and watch videos or listen to audio files. We like the way it word wraps text in PDF files so they fit the screen better, making it easier to scroll around them.
Its annotation capabilities are also second to none as you can create sticky notes, draw lines, arrows, squares and circles on documents and highlight or mark-up text. You can then share those annotations with friends and colleagues via email. There’s also an iPad-specific version available in the App Store if you happen to have one of Apple’s new tablets.
When it comes to opening, viewing and annotating large documents on the iPhone, GoodReader is simply the business.
